Juanita Sanders

Juanita Maynor Sanders, 91, of Saluda, SC, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her home. Born February 8, 1925, in Cowpens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Romulus and Eunice Kirby Maynor and widow of Nathan L. Sanders. Mrs. Sanders worked as Floor Manager for J. C. Penney for 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Vicky S. Rogers (Roy) of Saluda, SC and Sandra Pruitt of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Carol Lynn Vrana of Simpsonville, SC, Gina Shultz and Lucinda Holmes, both of Saluda, SC, Brooks Pruitt of Greenville, SC, and Erica Rickard of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jean Parham of Spartanburg, SC, Elizabeth Thrift and Sylvia Coggins, both of Cowpens, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Audrey Maynor; and sister, Verna Mae Crook. Visitation will be 2:30-3:30 PM Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the cryptside in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
