Juanita Emory Shropshier Johnson died Friday, December 10, 2010, at her home. Born May 3, 1933, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Dollie Mae Willis Emory. She was first married to the late Charles B. Shropshier and then to the late Ned L. Johnson. She was a past state and local president of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW #9539 and a member of Croft Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Oliver and husband Bill of Talladega, AL, and Sheryl L. Shropshier of Spartanburg; a son, Ricky W. Shropshier and wife Wanda of Boiling Springs, SC; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Brown, and a brother, Joe Emory. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Joe Dempsey. Visitation will follow the service at the Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
