Juanita Berry Cook, 88, of 178 Washington Road, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at her residence. Born, October 28, 1922, in Love Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late Midus Peddigrew and Mollie Parrish Berry and wife of the late Harold Brady "Bud" Cook. Juanita was retired from Kings Knitting, as a weaver, and during retirement, worked at Hardees until the age of 82. Formerly, she attended Converse Baptist Church and was a great supporter of Children's Cancer Research. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Hazel Margaret Cook of Ipswich, England; a grandson, Daniel Lee Cook and his wife Sharon of Ipswich, England; a granddaughter, Claire Louise Cook of Ipswich, England; a great-grandson, Matthew Stephen Cook of Ipswich, England; a great-granddaughter, Emily Louise Cook of Ipswich, England; a brother, H. T. Berry of Cowpens, SC; and two sisters, Thelma Reynolds and Ellen White, both of Gaffney, SC. Beloved extended family members include Jerry, Terry, Perry, and Barry Wayne Patty. She was predeceased by her son, Dennis Harold Cook. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Chaplin Matthew Eddleman.
