Joyce Easler

Joyce Wells Easler, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at her home. Born May 10, 1931, in Pacolet Mills, SC, she was the daughter of the late Welton and Addie Glass Wells. Mrs. Easler was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church in Pacolet. A graduate of Cecil's Business College, she retired from Bethel United Methodist Church as church secretary after 30 years of service. She attended Spartanburg Medical Center cardiac rehabilitation program on a regular basis where she made many friends. Surviving is her loving husband of 44 years, Oliver Fulmer Easler of the home; daughters, Gale Teaster (Henry T. Woods) of Rock Hill, SC, Paula Joy Teaster of Pacolet, SC, and Marcia Teaster Hood (Frank) of Spartanburg, SC; and sisters, Carolyn W. Walker of Lillington, NC, Elaine W. Mize of Greer, SC, and Nancy W. Young of Broken Bow, NE. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, February 13, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, by the Rev. David B. Smith. Private entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex.
