Joyce Cantor

Joyce Ann Cantor, 81, wife of the late Donald Bruce Cantor, died Sunday, January 30, 2022, at her home.  Born April 27, 1940, in Monroe, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Brady and Myrtle Wallen Hargett.

Joyce was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, wildlife on her property and loved her family.

Survivors are a daughter, Kathy Heavner (Jay) of Spartanburg, SC; three sons, Ronnie Gibson of Shelby, NC, Jason Cantor (Heather) of Easley, SC, and Josh Cantor (Jessica) of Inman, SC; three grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney and Issac; three sisters, Edith Medlin, Belle Johnson, and Louise Painter.  Besides her husband, Mrs. Cantor was predeceased by sisters, Doris Millwood and Dorothy Taylor, a son, Wayne Gibson and a granddaughter, Lily Cantor.

Graveside services will be Friday, February 4, 2022, 1:00 PM at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will follow services at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC, 29303.
