Joseph Williams

Joseph Marion Williams, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 27, 1938, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Henry M. and Effie Stevens Williams. A U. S. Navy veteran, Mr. Williams retired from Acker Motor Lines and Yellow Freight after 33 years of service. He was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Freida Lindsay Williams; and son, Joseph M. Williams, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC. Private services will be conducted at a later date.
