Joseph Hall Sr.

Joseph Dale Hall, Sr., 48, of 545 Campground Road, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 3, 1962, in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Merrell Ray and Frances Evelyn Goings Hall. He was an engineer with the SC Department of Transportation for 17 years, was of the Baptist faith, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include a son, Joseph Hall, Jr.; a grandson, Trey Hall, both of Spartanburg; two brothers, Danny Hall of Spartanburg and Tim Hall of Mills River, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, David and Chuck Hall. Graveside services with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes.
