Joseph Gilbert, Jr.

Joseph Franklin Gilbert, Jr., 42, passed away March 29, 2022 at home in Easley. He was born November 19, 1979 in Greenville, SC to Mrs. Jonnie Thompson McKinnish of Boiling Springs, SC and the late Mr. Joseph Gilbert, Sr.

Joe was a talented drummer who enjoyed many kinds of music, lover of animals, all around mechanic, and he lived life on the edge. He was a proud father to his two sons and loved them very much.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by stepfather, Bobby McKinnish of Boiling Springs, SC; sons, Joseph Franklin Gilbert, III (Haley) of Chesnee, SC and Jordan Phillip Gilbert of Cowpens, SC; brothers, Christopher McKinnish (Lauren) of Boiling Springs, SC and Darren Gilbert (Lisa) of Belton, SC; and fiancé, Diana McDaniel of Easley, SC.
