Joseph Eaker, Iii

Joseph “Billy” William Eaker III, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 16, 1946 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Lillie Arthur Eaker and the late Joseph William Eaker, Jr.

A Christian of the Methodist faith, Billy was a farmer, fisherman, gardner, a true outdoorsman and was a loving father, son, and grandfather.

Along with his mother, he was survived by his son, David Eaker (Tammy) of Edgewater, FL, a granddaughter, Kayla Eaker, and two great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Ryder. He was also predeceased by a brother, Donnie Eaker.

Visitation will be at 12:45 – 1:45 pm Monday, May 16, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Cryptside service will be at 2:00 pm at the Mausoleum, conducted by The Rev. Joe Blackwelder and The Rev. Dr. James W. Ivey. The entombment will be private.
