Jon Shubin

Jon Steven Shubin, 35, of Mount Laurel, NJ, formerly of Spartanburg, SC and Hickory, NC, died Friday, September 2, 2016 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, NJ. Born September 13, 1980 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Stuart Shubin of Mt. Pleasant, SC and of the late Sandy Gilpin Shubin. Jon was a co-owner of CRD Restore. He was of the Jewish faith. Survivors in addition to his father, include his wife, Megan Rafter Shubin; sister, Alyson Lapes (Brian) of Atlanta, GA; niece, Reagan Lapes; and nephew, Andrew Lapes. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 4, 2016 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rabbi Yossi Liebowitz. Pallbearers will be Brian Rafter, Joshua Rafter, Joseph Rafter, Tim Burke, Lee Pake, Brian Lapes, Michael Dinerman, and Mike McKenna.
