Johnny Moody Sr.

Johnny E. Moody, Sr. 65, of Chesnee, SC died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 20, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of the late Walter and Mabel Petty Moody.

Johnny was retired from Exopack LLC.

Survivors include his wife of six years, Diana Barnes Moody, his daughters, Brandy Moody and Christy Moody, his sons, Johnny Moody and Todd Miller, all of Cowpens, SC, 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and his sister, Avis Moody of Virginia. He was predeceased by a daughter, Wendy Moody, and siblings, Carolyn Lance, Suzzie Moody, Clyde Moody, and Walter Moody.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 1:45 PM Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
