Johnnie Dyke

John E. Dyke, 68, of 231 Cemetery Road, formerly of Gaffney, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at his home. Born January 28, 1942, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Rosa Lee Henderson Dyke of Mayo and the late James Grady Dyke and the husband of the late Patsy Ann Cash Dyke. He was retired from Budweiser of Spartanburg and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his mother is a brother, Harold Dyke of Spartanburg; and two nieces, Sue Ann Robinette of Wellford, and Jenny Lynne Dunann of Greenville. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Cash. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, P. O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at the home of his mother, Rosa Lee Dyke, 241 Cemetery Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
