John "Kevin" Wilkerson, Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and so much more. Kevin was hilarious, generous, witty, kind and genuine. He would do absolutely anything for a laugh, which got him into trouble more times than once. He was known for his immaculately timed jokes and his knowledge on all things cocktail related. If you were looking for Kevin, he was either floating in the pool, riding around in his Jeep, or playing ball with his four legged pal, Gus. He found joy in the little things and his happy and vibrant nature was infectious toward anyone who met him. He was truly one of a kind and will be forever missed. He was born in a tiny log cabin in Richmond, Virginia on April 16, 1962. He relocated to North Carolina with his family where he attended Hickory and Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools and began his first career in the airline industry. After his retirement, he returned to school for his Associates Degree in Applied Sciences where he became an Occupational Therapist Assistant in South Carolina. Kevin passed away at his home in Lyman, SC on March 21, 2021 at the age of 58. He is survived by his loving wife, Ronda, of 31 years; two sons, Chris (Andrea) and Michael (Victoria), and daughter, Charlee; three grandsons; father, John (Marge) and mother, Kaye (deceased); sisters, Karen (Scott) and Katie (Paul), and brother, Kerry (Danielle), ten nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on April 17, 2021 in Spartanburg, SC. The J. F. Floyd Mortuary To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of John Kevin Wilkerson please visit our Sympathy Store.
