John Ritzo

John Alexander Ritzo, 70, of Moore, SC, died Friday, November 3, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 26, 1947 in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of the late Peter Patrick Ritzo and Anna Balego Ritzo. A member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church and Manager of Master-Lee Services Spartanburg Operations, John loved his family, his work, his colleagues, his friends, neighbors, community, and church so much. He lit up many a days and moments with his positive attitude and he will be greatly missed. Survivors include his loving wife, Deborah Rose Jardanhazy Ritzo; daughter, Alissa Ritzo Duncan (Chris) of Spartanburg, SC; son, John Ritzo II of Simpsonville, SC; grandsons, Luke Duncan and Charlie Duncan, both of Spartanburg, SC; and sister, Ann Marie Antonicelli of Nevada. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Pat Ritzo. A memorial service honoring his life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Nazareth Presbyterian Church, 680 Nazareth Church Rd, Moore, SC 29369, by The Rev. Mrs. Julie Schaaf and The Rev. Dr. Tom Malone. The family will receive friends in the church Family Life Center following the service.
