John Richardson

John "Jack" Richardson, a resident of Moore, South Carolina passed away Wednesday morning, June 10, 2015, on his 82nd birthday. He was born June 10, 1933 in Springfield, IL to the late John Kenneth and Catherine Louise Gilson Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a graduate of Lanphier High School and had a successful career in the insurance industry. He was a member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church. He was also an avid woodworker and a model train enthusiast. John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia Flynn Richardson; five children, Colleen Richardson of Houston, TX, Keith Richardson and wife Shelli of Petersburg, IL, Shelly Richardson of Spartanburg, SC, Amy Richardson of Baton Rouge, LA and Tracey Powell of Denham Springs, LA; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer Lancaster Earle, Ellie Lansing, Amanda Thomas, Eric Brown, Jamee Furman Falcon, Daniel Furman, Jeremy Powell, Ashley Powell, Taylor Powell, Morgan Powell, Derek Wooldridge, Caitlin Richardson, Emily Richardson, Jordan Richardson; and 12 great-grandchildren. John will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, IL, in a service at a later date.
