John Rhodes

John Everett Rhodes, 82, of Gaffney, SC, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 31, 1937, in Woodruff, SC, he was the son of the late William Clyde Rhodes and Willie Maude Pruitt Rhodes. A U. S. Navy veteran, Mr. Rhodes was a member of VFW Post 3447 Wild Cat Post in Gaffney and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his children, Michael Rhodes (Cindy) of Simpsonville, SC, John D. Rhodes (Adrianne) of Fredericksburg, MD, and Tammy Rhodes of Inman, SC; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by special friend, Marrietta Spencer.
