John Parsons

John Daniel Parsons, 54, of Cowpens, SC, died Friday, July 26, 2019 at his home. Born July 27, 1964 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Elmer C. and Vivian Arke Hammonds Parsons. John was a house framer with Roger Boothe Construction. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He loved his grandbabies, country music, and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Jeneane Dalton Parsons; daughters, Crystal P. Sanford (Shaun) of Spartanburg, SC and Tina P. Huth (Billy) of Chesnee, SC; a grandson, Dillinger Carson; a granddaughter, LilyDawn Scott; and his siblings, James Parsons of Gray Court, SC, Vivian Strain of Cowpens, SC, Keith Parsons (Cynthia) of Cowpens, SC, Katherine Bogan of Gaffney, SC, Gordon Parsons of Woodruff, SC, Joyce Price (Charlie) of Chesnee, SC, Jeff Parsons (Brenda) of Inman, SC, and Doug Parsons (Deanna) of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 12:30 - 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 250 Mt. Olive Rd., Cowpens, SC 29330, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. David Watkins and The Rev. Dennis Spencer. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John D. Parson Memorial Fund, c/o The J. F.
