John Marable

John Raymond Marable, 53, of 31B Wedgefield Drive, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010, at his home. Born December 30, 1956, in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of Anne Alton Marable of Spartanburg and the late William S. Marable, Sr. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and Greenville Technical College, formerly employed at Tietex, and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Additional survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay Montgomery Marable; a brother, William Marable, Sr. and wife Dianne of Simpsonville, SC; a nephew, David Marable of Simpsonville; a granddaughter, Ashley Duncan of Spartanburg; a special grandson, Arron Dale Bradley; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. John will be remembered as a devoted husband, son, brother, and friend. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, conducted by the Rev. Fr. Timothy M. Gann. Visitation will follow in the Parish Center. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund, 161 N.
