John Lawson

John Kenneth Lawson, 61, of Pauline, SC, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at his home. Born February 16, 1956, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Weldon Leroy and Margaret Louise Hatchette Lawson. Mr. Lawson received his Bachelor's Degree from USC-Spartanburg and was the owner/operator of Lawson Trucking Company. Survivors include his wife, Tami Smithers Lawson; children, John Kyle Lawson of Pauline, SC and Ashley Wells (Kevin) of Simpsonville, SC; grandson, Jaxon Wells; and sister, Kathy Wilson of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Millwood. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Keith Taylor. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
