John Jarrett

John Hampton Jarrett, of Boiling Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 8, 1924, in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late John E. "Jack" and Mabel Frances Deckner Jarrett. He was a commercial advertising artist and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Doris Ann Pridmore Jarrett; son, John T. "Tim" Jarrett and wife Susie of Simpsonville; grandson, Matthew Jarrett of Simpsonville; and nephew, Carl Corbett of Atlanta, GA. A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Visitation will follow in the Chapel.
