John Hensley

John Wesley Hensley, 60, of Lyman, SC, died Friday, June 12, 2015, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Born May 30, 1955, in Union, SC, he was the son of Wilburn Lee and Shirley Moore Hensley. A U. S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Hensley was retired as a district sales manager for Radio Shack. He was a member of Green Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years, Patricia Jolly Hensley; daughters, Sherry (Lex) Nunnery of Rock Hill, SC and Stacy (Chris) Burrell of Lyman, SC; brother, Rickey (Vicki) Hensley of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Shirlene (Billy) Inman of Landrum, SC and Debbie (Jerry) Cartee of Inman, SC; granddaughter, Mackenzie Burrell; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Cherie Hensley. Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2015, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Thomas Moore. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Rd., Landrum, SC 29356. The family is at the home of Patricia Hensley.
