John Hansen

John Christiansen Hansen, 90, of Spartanburg, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at White Oak Estates. Born April 10, 1922, in Germany, he was the husband, for 55 years, of the late Helga Timm Hansen and son of the late Nicolaus and Christine Johanne Christiansen Hansen. Mr. Hansen was retired from Proctor & Gamble after 10 years of service. He was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. He and his wife emigrated to the U. S. from Germany and became U. S. citizens on April 29, 1958. Survivors include his daughter, Diane C. Morriss (Thomas W.) of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Danielle Morriss, Stephanie Morriss, and Jason Morriss, all of Spartanburg; and nephew, Claus Lembke of Bismarck, ND. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 1430 John B.
