John Oliver Allen Douglas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 12, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lillian George Douglas of Houston, TX and formerly of Spartanburg, SC; two children, John OA Douglas Jr. (Caroline) of Houston, TX and Kathleen Van Every (Kenneth) of Wilmington, DE; two grandchildren, Heidi and Colin Van Every of Wilmington, DE; and a sibling, Nona Ann Mattson of Conway, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, May 1, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. David B. Smith.
