John Bedenbaugh Jr.

John "Johnny" Clinton Bedenbaugh, Jr., of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Woodruff Manor. He was born June 7, 1941 in Griffin, GA, a son of the late John Clinton Bedenbaugh, Sr. and Bertha Woodard Bedenbaugh. He was married to the late Linda Jo Knighten Bedenbaugh. Johnny worked in the commercial printing industry. He is survived by a step-son, Mike Williams (Michelle) of Woodruff; brothers, Jim Bedenbaugh of Jonesville, SC and Bill Bedenbaugh (Jean) of Kensington, MD; a sister, Anne Tuck (Sidney) of Spartanburg; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Bedenbaugh Jeffords (Dr. Vernon Jeffords). Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Dr. M. Todd Lowe. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, PO Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
