Joe Cantrell

Joe Grace McKinney Cantrell, 94, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at White Oak at North Grove. Born April 16, 1923 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Z. and Mae Benson McKinney and widow of Boyce Dean Cantrell. Mrs. Cantrell was a retired bookkeeper. Survivors include her cousins, Lillian Boyd and John Vickers, both of Gainesville, GA; sister-in-law, Mildred Fridy of Spartanburg, SC; brother-in-law, Bruce Cantrell of Newport News, VA; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as amazing friends, Linda Mason and Heather Wilson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Hazel Switzer. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Dr. Charles Mayson.
