Joanna Neeley

Joanna Carpenter Neeley, 74, of Spartanburg died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 7, 1935 in Richland County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Daisy Holcombe Carpenter. She was retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield and Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include a son, Robert C. Neeley and wife Eunice of Inman; a granddaughter, Nicole Neeley of Boiling Springs; three great grandchildren, Cole Mattison, Neeley Mattison, Joseph Mattison all of Boiling Springs; a sister, Betty Debeer of Fayetteville, NC; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Hub Blankenship, Jr. The family will receive friends and family following the service at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
