Joann Harris

Joann Harris, 72, of Spartanburg, died Monday, December 18, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on January 21, 1951, to Charles Preston Moore and Mary Louise Scruggs Harris. 

She retired from Mayfair Mills after 32 years of service and then worked at BI-LO Grocery Store and Wal Mart. 

Surviving is her son, Bobby Wayne Harris; sister, Linda Yeatts; grandsons, Bobby Wayne Harris, Jr and Matthew Daniel Harris; five great grandchildren; a niece that was a daughter to her, Essie Harris and her two children, Briana Edwards, and Devon Tucker; niece, Nellie Simmons;  great nieces, Katlyn Robinson and Sarah Stone; one great nephew, Hendrix Robinson. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, December 22, 2023, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Road, Wellford, SC 29385, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Jimmie Hilton.
