JoAnn Scott Easler, 79, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at White Oak Manor. Born March 16, 1930, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Margaret Arthur Scott and the wife of the late Guy Bonner Easler. A graduate of Spartanburg High School, she was retired from Drayton Mills after 49 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Cannon?s Camp Ground United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Ann E. O'Quinn and husband David of Spartanburg; a very special friend, Ben Dunagin of Spartanburg; three sisters, Juleen Collins, Nancy Fortune and husband John, and Emily Alverson and husband George, all of Spartanburg; six very special sisters-in-law and one very special brother-in-law, all of Spartanburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Lipscomb and Margaret Hammett. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. James W. Johnston, Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
