Joan Rogers Warren, 68, of 4843 N. Blackstock Road, died Sunday, October 14, 2012, at her home. Born July 22, 1944, in Watertown, NY, she was a daughter of the late Earl Frederick and Laura Irene Blanchard Rogers and the widow of Gerald (Jerry) Claude Warren. She was retired from RoseCrest Retirement Community Environmental Services and a member of Dove Assembly. Joan's life revolved around her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include daughters, Vicki Clark George (Philip) of Fairforest, SC, and Claudette Warren Tipton (Jimmy) of Cowpens, SC; sons, David Warren (Teresa) of Spartanburg, SC, and Lee Warren (Laura Harris) of Clifton, SC; seven grandchildren, Tim Clark, Nicole Clark, Laura Warren, Michelle Hall, Christopher Hall II, LeAnne Warren, and Jesse Warren; seven great-grandchildren, Aiden Clark, Tylon Hall, Isabella Hall, Alana Warren, Bryson Warren, Reagan Holycost, and Giovanni Matos; brother, Fred Rogers of Watertown, NY; sisters, Yvonne Spinner-Dunn of Kannapolis, NC, and Rosalyn Brown of Watertown, NY; four nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Warren; and her stepmother, Hilda Rogers. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Dove Assembly. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Rev. Joe Mosley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Dove Assembly, 590 Mt. Zion Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Vicki Clark George, 4843 N. Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
