Joan Sellers

Joan Cecilé Sellers, 64, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Faye Lavender, the wife of Sam Sellers of Spartanburg, and a member of Skylyn United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Joseph Carter (Samantha) of Roebuck and Stephen Sellers (Brandi) of Spartanburg; one daughter, Jessica Eplee (TA) of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Donna Pruitt and Debbie Sellers; and one grandchild, Emily Carter. She was predeceased by one sister, Jerri Sellers. The family will host a service at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Skylyn United Methodist Church, 1415 Skylyn Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Memorial Hospital, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The families are at their respective homes.
