Joan Earley

Joan Bennett Earley, 71, of Moore, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born February 21, 1944, in Beckley, WV, she was the wife of Newton R. Earley and the daughter of Madeline Harris of Parkersburg, WV and the late Jack Harris. She loved crafting, her grandchildren, and her precious dog Sandy. In addition to her husband of 44 years and her mother, survivors include her four children, Joan Cox (Dean) of Roebuck, Tom Truluck of Gaffney, David Truluck (Melodie) of Charleston, and Stephen Truluck of Wellford; two grandchildren, Andrew Nodine (Tirzah) of Eugene, OR and McKenzie Cox of Roebuck. Joan was predeceased by her brother, Estil Bennett. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David Truluck. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Ft. Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385.
