Jimmy Dale Wilson, 77, of Inman, died Sunday, February 18, 2024, at his home. A native of Polk County, NC, he was born on October 25, 1946, a son of the late Anthony and Marjorie Gilbert Wilson.
He was the owner of Jimmy Wilson Construction Company, an avid hunter and fisherman who loved dirt track car racing.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Stevens Wilson; stepdaughter, Catherine Kot; brothers, Jack Wilson of Moore, Roy Wilson (Jane) of Woodlawn, TN, Ricky Wilson (Judy) of Columbus, NC, Ronnie Wilson (Deena) of Boiling Springs, SC; sisters, Hazel Dietz (Russell) of Columbus, NC, Ruth Brown of Columbus, NC, Rachel Edwards (Don) of Greer, Betty Godfrey of Columbus, NC and Toni Britt (Olin) of Columbus, NC, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Kip Layne Wilson; brothers, Harold Wilson and Allen Wilson; and sister, Josephine Calloway.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Westminster Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 309 Fernwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307
