Jimmy Pryor Sr.

Jimmy R. Pryor Sr., 72, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, October 14, 2018, at his home. Born March 24, 1946, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late George Pickney Pryor Sr. and Inez Beheler Pryor. Mr. Pryor retired from Mary Black Memorial Hospital. He was a Mason and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Grace Lancaster Pryor; children, Dr. Jimmy R. Pryor Jr. (Missy) of Campobello, Cindy Pryor Barbare of Greenwood, Tiffany Moore (Chris) of Lyman, Amanda Murphy (Scott) of Myrtle Beach, and David A. Garrett of Spartanburg; grandchildren, James Pryor, Jacob Hall, Emma Hall, Ben Moore, and Chloe Murphy; sisters, Peggy Koonce and Rebecca Hall; and brother, Johnny Pryor, all of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by Rev. Ralph Byars and Rev. Joyce Murphy. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
