Jesus Meza Mireles

Jesus Meza Mireles, born on August 4, 1933, in Mexico City, Mexico, departed this life on November 19, 2024, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Jesus was a wonderful husband and a devoted father who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He built his life around the love for his family, leaving them with enduring memories of joy and warmth. Jesus and his wife, Mary have been members of the Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior in Spartanburg.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary D. Mireles, along with their children: Monica Rudgley (Mervyn) of Texas, Norman Edward Mireles (Jennifer) of Texas, and Ivette Yoshida (Gary) of California; and his cherished grandchild, Ashley. Preceded in death by his parents,

Throughout his life, Jesus was known for his love of the arts, finding joy in drawing and painting. He loved to travel with his wife, particularly enjoying adventures around the world, especially in Colombia, South America.

Professionally, Jesus made his mark as an electrician, a field in which he proudly retired after years of dedicated service.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date. 

Jesus Meza Mireles leaves behind a family that carries forward his legacy of love, creativity, life skills, and adventure. His presence will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, exemplifying a life well-lived and full of passion.
