Jessie Smith

Jessie Mae Henard Smith, 82, of Clifton, SC, died Monday, January 18, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 18, 1933, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph L. and Ruth Henderson Henard and widow of Donald E. Smith, Sr. Mrs. Smith was a member of Clifton First Baptist Church and retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her sons, Eddie Smith (Gina) and Randy Smith; grandson, Hunter Smith; great-granddaughter, Apryl Day; and sister, Dorothy Hyleman. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Brian Harris. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home of Gina and Eddie Smith.
