Jessie Margaret Lee Fletcher, 81, formerly of Randolph Street, Saxon, went to her eternal home on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 18, 1927, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wallace C. and Beulah Mae Bullman Lee and the devoted wife to the late Ralph Fletcher. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the loving mother to Margaret Fletcher Reece and her husband Johnny of the Boiling Springs area, Dewey Gene Fletcher of Spartanburg, the late Deborah Kay Newman, and the late Carolyn Lynn Fletcher; an inspirational grandmother to Angie Reece Bryant and her husband Jonathan, Shelley Reece Thompson and her husband Danny, Jennifer "J. J." Reece Fowler and her husband Buck, Taylor Gene Fletcher, the late Jerry Lydia, and the late Wally Newman; a doting great-grandmother to Daniel E. Thompson, III, Andrew L. Hampton, Alanna L. Hampton, Dylan R. Thompson, Reece C. Thompson, RayAnn S. Fowler, and Fletcher S. Fowler; a "sister", Grace Lovelace of Fairforest; and a "brother", Charlie B. Lee of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family is at the home of her daughter, Margaret Reece, 620 Peachtree Road, Chesnee.
