Jerry Ramsey

Jerry Lee Ramsey, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 8, 1943, he was the son of the late Albert and Cumy Hammond Ramsey. He was retired from Gilbert Shoe Company after thirty eight years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed woodworking and drawing. Survivors include a brother, Kenneth Ramsey and wife Sara of Spartanburg; a sister, Joan Sparnell of York; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Gilbert. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Keith Davis.
