Jerry Jameson

Jerry E. Jameson, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 22, 1933, in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late Abner Harold and Helen Evatt Jameson. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Jameson was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a 1963 graduate of the University of South Carolina, College of Pharmacy, a lifelong Gamecocks fan, and a retired pharmacist. Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Pat Jameson; sons, Michael E. Jameson (Heidi) of Spartanburg, SC, Brian S. Jameson (Rochelle) of Matthews, NC, and Kevin B. Jameson of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren, Emma Jameson, Harry Jameson, Charlie Jameson, Cooper Jameson, Matthew Jameson, and Samuel Jameson; brother, Gregg Jameson (Shirley) of Belton, SC; three nieces; two nephews; four great-nieces; and seven great-nephews. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date in Garden of Memories, Belton, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304; or a charity of one's choice.
