Jerry Henderson

Jerry Nicholas Henderson, 73, of 4803 Stone Station Road, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at his home. Born June 29, 1937, in Woodruff, he was the son of Ophelia Wright and husband of the late Amelia Sandra Varner Henderson. He was a former fabricator with Art Metal Corporation and co-owner of C & J Pest Control and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mr. Henderson loved his late wife, Amelia, his three boys, and the great outdoors. Survivors include three sons, Thomas Richard Henderson and Jerry Christopher Henderson, both of the home, and Kenneth Price Henderson of Pauline; and two nieces, Pam and Paula. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Henderson. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2011, at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Joseph Jennings. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church, PO Box 220, Pauline, SC 29374. The family is at the home.
