Jerry Burnett

Jerry W. Burnett, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at his home. Born August 17, 1942, in Valley Falls, SC, he was the son of the late Joseph Elgin and Mabel Norene Covil Burnett. A U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Burnett was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Wellford, SC, and formerly employed with RR Donnelley. Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Ann Hawkins Burnett; daughters, Sherry Winstead (Mike) of Inman, SC and April Lindler (Cliff) of Spartanburg, SC; three grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Everette Burnette of McConnells, SC and Johnny Burnette of Spartanburg, SC. No services will be conducted at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church, PO Box 182, Wellford, SC 29385. The family is at the home.
