Jerry Bailey, Jr.

Jerry Leroy Bailey Jr., 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 15, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Leroy and Anita Moore Bailey Dorman. A retired, decorated, veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Master Sergeant Bailey was also a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include his children, Jerry L. Bailey III of the home, Michael Todd Bailey (Katherine) of Richland, MO, and Marcie Bailey Outlaw of the home; five grandchildren, Lisa Brooke Stevens, Tyler Lee Bailey, Justin Elias Bailey, Madison Nichole Bailey, and Devlin Shaw Bailey; one great-grandson; sister, Madonna Bailey Cromer (Stephen) of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Perry Eugene Bailey of Maggie Valley, NC; and sister-in-law, Earline Bailey of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-father, Ralph Dorman. A graveside service, with military rites, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 29, 2016, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
