Jerome Wright

Jerome Jerry Wright, 73, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 21, 1942, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Floyd Oscar Wright and Evermae Wall Wright. Mr. Wright was an avid sports fan and loved working in the yard. A graduate of USC Upstate, he was a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Kohler. Survivors include his wife, Debra Jenkins Wright of the home; children, Pamela D. O'Sullivan (Larry) of Chesnee, SC, David J. Wright of Spartanburg, SC, Allison J. Blackwell (Donald) of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Brad, Eric, Erika, Caitlin, Natalie, Emily, and Corey; and great-grandchildren, Birkley, Harper-Kate, and Rayph. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, November 27, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Timothy Hackett. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home of Debra Wright.
