Jeffrey Swainson

Jeffrey Alan Swainson, 46, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born November 4, 1970, in Melbourne, FL, he was the son of James Burn Swainson and Sue Foley Swainson of Spartanburg, SC. Jeff enjoyed racing model cars, flying drones, and had a longtime passion for caring for tropical fish in salt water aquariums. He was employed with CSC of Charlotte. In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, Jimmy Swainson of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Cole Swainson of Roebuck, SC and Scott Calicutt of Lyman, SC; and canine life companion, Hercules. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A service honoring his memory will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, by the Rev. Ken Mayfield.
