Jeffery Waldrop

Jeffery "Jeff" Gordon Waldrop, 58, of Moore, SC, died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born September 2, 1958, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Sue Patton Waldrop of Moore, SC and the late George Gordon Waldrop. Jeff, a master Hairstylist, was co-owner of Waldrop's Barber and Styling. He competed in South Carolina Barber Competitions and won second place in the Nationals. Jeff was an avid pool player and participated in many upstate and national competitions. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Paula Lea Henderson Waldrop; son, Corey Gordon Waldrop of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Amber Nicole Freeman (Bradley) of Jonesville, SC; grandson, Brayden Freeman; brother, Robby Waldrop (Karen) of Moore, SC; nephew, Landon Waldrop of Moore, SC; his very best friend in life, Danny Calvert and Bella his canine buddy. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by the Rev. Bill McDonald and the Rev. Jones Brewer. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
