Jeannette Lucille Rattie Pare, 86, of Inman, SC, died Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 20, 1929, in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Jessie C. Migneault Rattie and widow of Hubert Marcel Pare. Mrs. Pare was a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church. She retired from U. S. Rubber after over 24 years of service, Univis Frame in North Attleboro, MA after 11 years of service, and most recently from CVS Pharmacy. Survivors include her brother, Oscar Rattie of North Attleboro, MA; sisters, Elaine F. DeMello of Waterford, CT and Mary LaPointe of Woonsocket, RI; and granddaughter, Laura L. Whitt of South Carolina. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Claire E. Salley and son, Robert P. Pare. A private graveside service will be conducted in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Andy Case. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitney Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 847 Iron Ore Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
