Jeanne Taylor Glover, 89, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was born on April 13, 1932, in Spartanburg to the late Jean Thomas and Reva Randall Taylor and was married to the late Gerald R. Glover, Sr. for 69 years.
Mrs. Glover was a member of First Baptist Church in Arcadia and loved cooking, gardening, flowers and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Glover was a 1950 graduate of Spartanburg High School.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Glover (Penny) of Spartanburg and David Glover (Rhonda) of Inman. 3 grandchildren, Brooke Confer (Chet) of Duncan, Lyndsey Ballenger (Adam) of Inman, Kyle Glover of Lyman and 5 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by a number of special cousins and special neighbors, Paulette Reeves and Roy and Patsy Green.
Mrs. Glover was predeceased by 1 great-grandchild, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, August 13, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Rev. Dylan Styles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Arcadia, P.O. Box 25, Arcadia, SC 29320.
