Jean Weathers

Jean G. Weathers, 82, of Spartanburg died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 27, 1929 in McCaysville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Carl William German and Carrie Edgell Denny German Pickelsimer. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Edward Weathers; two sons, Wayne Weathers and wife Crystal of Spartanburg, Eddie Weathers of Easley; daughter, Avis Anderson and husband Dean of Spartanburg; daughter-in-law, Kathy H. Glass of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Brian Glass, Joseph Glass, David Weathers, Andrew Weathers, Alice Weathers, William Weathers, Ken Anderson, Jean Anderson, and Katherine Anderson; and sisters, Evelyn G. Stewart of McCaysville, GA, Patsy Ann G. Snow of Lithia Springs, GA, and Peggy G. Mitchell of Smyrna, GA. She was predeceased by a son, Edward Loy Glass, and brothers, Wendell German and Cecil German. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by her brother-in-law, the Rev. James Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 S.
