Jean Harrold

Bettie Jean Jeffords Harrold, 83, loving wife and mom left her earthly home of Spartanburg, SC, and went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 9, 2012. Born September 2, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Rebekah Mims Jeffords. Mrs. Harrold was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, enjoyed singing in church choirs, attending women's organizations, and playing golf with the ladies groups at Three Pines and The Creek Golf Club. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Harrold who resides in Spartanburg, SC; her four children, Harvey Harrold of Simpsonville, SC, Iris Sutton of Spartanburg, SC, Robert Harrold of Inman, SC, and Ann Block of Pengilly, MN. Jean was blessed with nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
