Jean Frye

Jean Moore Frye, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, September 16, 2016, at her home. Born February 3, 1932, in Laurens, SC, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Dixie Fleming Moore and widow of Joe H. Frye. Mrs. Frye was a registered nurse at Spartanburg General Hospital for 30 years and a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Sara M. Myers of Lake Greenwood, SC; brother, Jack H. Moore of Charlotte, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brother, Bill Moore; and sister, Margaret Teague. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Private entombment will follow visitation.
