Janie Gray

Janie F. Gray, 85, formerly of Woodruff, died Friday, February 24, 2012, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Jackson and Louvenia Christopher Fortenberry. She was a homemaker, caregiver, and member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Ray Gray and daughter-in-law Joy of Jonesville; daughter, Trudy Leiderman of Boiling Springs; grandson, Steve Cox; granddaughter, Kinsley Gray; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Chuck Thornton. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 170835, Spartanburg, SC 29301. The family is at their respective homes.
